The first time I smoke the Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa, things didn't go well. Not because of the cigar, its flavors, or how it was rolled, but because of technical issues and weather. So, today, we're back for Round 2 with the Rojas Street Tacos “Barbacoa” Short Corona.

The first thing I noticed about the Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa was the closed foot. Immediately I became excited about the blast of wrapper flavor that was soon to come.

With a quick snip with my guillotine cutter, the draw was just about perfect. On the cold draw, I tasted lots of wood. The first few puffs offered lots of smoke to fully taste the Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa, and while no single flavor really stood out, things were off to a good start.

Final Thoughts

Overall, the construction of the Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa Short Corona was absolutely perfect. The draw was great and provided plenty of smoke. The burn was almost razor-sharp.

Regarding the flavors, they were fairly mild to medium but with blasts of spice.

Good construction. Flavors you might love. And a price point that's fantastic. The Rojas Street Tacos Barbacoa earns a CigarScore 5.
