Manual Safety on Concealed Carry pistols should be Ambidextrous if you carry a gun with one

If your concealed carry firearm has a manual safety you will want one that has an ambidextrous safety. The 1911 pistol is one popular concealed carry pistol with models having ambidextrous safeties and others that do not.

In the event your primary hand is injured you may still need to manipulate your firearm. If the safety selector is only one one side of the gun you will have a difficult time switching your pistol from safe to fire.
