FLASHBACK: Dr. Fauci Claims Masks Don’t Provide COVID Protection

video has resurfaced from nine months ago of U.S. infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci stating that masks do not provide the kind of protection against COVID-19 that people think they do and that they may only help in making people “feel” safe.

“There's no reason to be walking around with a mask,” Fauci told CBSNews’ 60 Minutes in a March 8 interview with chief medical correspondent for CBS News Dr. Jon LaPook.
