Soulja Boy filmed smoking 'weed' inside casino before a 16th birthday party

Soulja Boy was spotted smoking a huge roll up inside a Las Vegas casino before stepping on stage to perform at a 16-year-old girl's birthday party.

The rapper, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was filmed taking a drag just before going on stage in the ballroom at Resorts World Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on Saturday (16/4).

He was joined offstage by a number of other artists he promotes, including fellow rapper Shop Strong Tay, 28, who took the video.

Shop Strong Tay, whose real name is Allunte Malone, believes this is the first time any rapper has "smoked weed inside a casino".

The artist from Baltimore, Maryland, said: "When I said he was the first rapper to do it in the casino he was excited and said 'you hear me'.

DeAndre, 31, performed his signature hit 'Crank That (Soulja Boy)' during his hour long set for the birthday party of a cancer survivor who had just turned 16.

Shop Strong Tay added: "Soulja Boy made the girl feel special. He was in high spirits"

This comes after he announced on Instagram last month that he was expecting a baby boy with an LA-based hairstylist named Jackie.

The videos were taken between 9:30pm and 10:30pm on April 16 2022.
