25% localization in communications, IT sector starts today
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) will start on Sunday localization of jobs in communications and information technology (IT) sector, as per the procedural guidelines.
These jobs include communications and IT engineering, application development, programming and analysis, and technical support.
Localization rate of 25% will be applied on each of the three groups in establishments where there are five or more workers, with the exception of small-sized enterprises.
Interior Ministry confirms vaccination 'must' to enter offices, attend events from Aug. 1
The Ministry of Interior Spokesman Lt. Col. Talal Al-Shalhoub confirmed that vaccination against COVID-19 is a prerequisite to enter government and private offices, activities and events, as of Aug. 1.
During a press conference about COVID-19 updates in the Kingdom on Sunday, Al-Shalhoub said the decision includes attending any commercial, cultural, entertainment, sports, and economic activity, as well as any cultural, scientific, social or entertainment event.

Absher platform has warned beneficiaries of its services from dealing with any suspected messages alleging relation with the platform or the main gate of the Ministry of Interior.
It noted that there are attempts to fraud users through fake links to access the page of the platform, with the aim of obtaining users' data and using them in suspicious operations.
Hajj Ministry calls on pilgrims to complete vaccine doses
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called on all those who received permits to perform Hajj rituals this year to take the second dose of the vaccine.
In a statement on Sunday, the Ministry said that Hajj permits would facilitate getting an appointment for the second dose within 48 hours of issuing the permit.
No deaths reported among vaccinated, MoH confirms
There have been no deaths reported among vaccinated individuals in Saudi Arabia, The Ministry of Health (MOH) confirmed on Sunday.
This was stated by Dr. Muhammad Al-Abdulaaly, official spokesman of the Ministry of Health, while announcing that the second dose of anti-coronavirus vaccine is available now for people above 50 years old.
He warned from rumors related to coronavirus vaccines, calling on everyone to be aware and refer to official sources.
Over 5.65 million illegal foreigners arrested
A total of 5,651,619 violators of residency laws, labor regulations and border security laws have been arrested during the period from Nov. 11 2017 to June 24, 2021.
The joint field campaigns carried out by various security authorities across the Kingdom have resulted in the arrest of illegals, according to a report of the Ministry of Interior, carried by the Saudi Press Agency on Saturday.
The arrested persons include 4,323,083 violators of the residency laws while 803,186 were arrested for the violation of labor laws. Violators of the border security laws reached 525,350.
The total number of those who were arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom was 116,930, of whom 43 percent were Yemeni nationals, 54 percent were Ethiopians, and three percent were of other nationalities. All News Source https://saudigazette.com.sa/morearticles/Saudi-arabia
