This Bluetooth and SD card music player is also a spy camera that can record 1080p video with audio onto a second hidden SD card, The camera can be monitored and controlled remotely over wifi or can work unattended with wifi turned off recording detected or continuous motion to the SD card. It can be powered either by a USB cable or using the built-in rechargeable battery for up to five hours.

In The box can be found the speaker, USB Charging Cable, x2 Rubber Grips, two Cleaning Wipes, a Reseting Pin, and a nicely printed user Guide. Build quality seems fine, not premium quality but robust enough for everyday use.

Looking at the speaker on the top there are three good sized track control buttons, the middle one also turning the Bluetooth on and off. On the rear are the USB power in port, music micro-USB card slot, wifi on/off switch and a Bluetooth Status LED. On the base is the Video files micro-USB card slot with wifi status LED inside. The two supplied rubber grips are designed to be stuck to the underside, one of them concealing the SD card slot from prying eyes.

As a music player, it is fine for the 15 x 5 x 6 cm size, with a good clear sound although lacking a bit in bass. It is easy enough to use with three large track transport buttons on the top. When Bluetooth is turned on it defaults to that playing mode, otherwise, it automatically plays tracks from the SD card.

Bluetooth setup is quick and simple. Long press the central button on top of the unit until the Bluetooth SLED starts flashing. On your PC or phone Bluetooth page find the nearby C6 device and pair to it in the usual way.

Connecting to wifi is a little more trick although the HomeEye app walks you through it. First, you need to turn the wifi switch to the on position and confirm the red LED in the Video SD card slot is on. You can now open the HomeEye app and press the add camera button, you need to then connect your phone to the wifi network generated by the camera, this will begin with the letters AYS -.You can now return to the app and continue to follow the walkthrough guide remembering to assign the app Location monitoring permission. The phone will return to your normal network in the background at this point also connect the camera to it.

You can now use the app to configure the camera pretty much like any other security camera with motion detection and three levels of video quality being available. The highest level is a true 1920x1080 with the frame rate varying according to the light level and using the excellent H264 codec. The video quality will vary according to the ambient conditions and it is worth taking time to use the app controls to tweak the image settings when the camera is in position. The camera can be left plugged into a USB port otherwise it will record from the internal battery for up to five hours with Bluetooth and music playing off. The camera can be remotely controlled and monitored or with wifi off can record either continuously or with motion detection on. The app user can view and delete existing recordings as well as manually start new ones, and control the motion detection settings.

As a spy camera, it's pretty good for the £69.99 price. Video quality is fine but needs to be adjusted using the app before recording for best results. The microphone works well and is better too than I expected. The only drawbacks are the lack of zones, audio triggering, and cloud storage.

That aside this is an excellent mid-range spy camera which works well and at a price which will not break the bank.
