Teresa “Terry” Castillo is a proud graduate of Osceola County School District. After graduating from Gateway High School, she attended Valencia College, where she obtained her A.A. in General Studies and her A.S. degree in Digital Media. Terry graduated with honors from Barry University with a Professionals Studies Bachelor’s degree with a Legal Studies concentration. Terry will obtain her Master’s in Business Administration from the Crummer School of Business at Rollins College in 2021.

Personal
Teresa “Terry” Castillo was born in Hialeah, Florida, and spent her summers with her grandmother in the Dominican Republic. Her family moved to Osceola County in her junior year of high school, and she graduated from Gateway High school in 2000. She is the proud single mother to her only child, Autumn, who enjoys cheering on at dance competitions. As a life-long learner, Terry enjoys listening to podcasts such as Freakonomics Radio, Hidden Brain, Radio Ambulante, and Making Sense.

Professional
Teresa “Terry” Castillo has over ten years of experience in the Learning and Development field. She has worked as a facilitator, sales coach, and instructional designer for Apple Inc., Florida Hospital, and Charter Communications. She has experience in K-12 education as a tutor with the Valencia-Osceola District GEAR-up partnership and as a Psychology teacher at Freedom High School. She is currently a Training Manager for the Orange County Clerk of Courts. She is creating dynamic learning paths that support the clerk’s mission to “maintain court records and provide our global community and partners access to related services with transparency and integrity.”
