Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland on Ukraine conflict, Russia's G20 membership – April 22, 2022

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland holds a news conference in Washington, D.C., where she has been attending meetings with other finance ministers and central bank governors. She is joined by Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko and Canadian International Development Minister Harjit Sajjan. They discuss the global response to Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Freeland is also asked about Russia’s continued membership in the G20. She joined allies in staging a walkout at a G20 meeting earlier in the week as Russian officials were speaking to protest their participation.
