2022 Contest Part 47 Craftsman 9 inch bandsaw repaired again

We've been working on that Craftsman 9 inch 124.3299 bandsaw for a very long time. The problem was the tension had weakened the steel on the back and the blade would never cut straight. This time we installed some steel fender washers to stiffen it up.

If we're going to make a strong negative space under frame then we need this saw to cut aluminum barstock. I put on the fine tooth blade which has never stayed on before. This time I freehanded a piece of barstock and the blade did the work! Let's hope this fix lasts so we can journey into the uncharted waters of negative space underframes!
