Christopher Cross with "Baby It's All You" and 38 Special with "Caught Up In You" come together for the Mayor's confection of a Segue City Special today as Saturday settles into place. We're settling into our plans of hitting the beach this weekend and beating the crowd to the beach. People in New York and New Jersey must not want to live in their own states anymore as they all seem to be down here... gee, we wonder why?

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
