In this video I discuss the relationship between critics and authors following the recent trends of authors like Christopher Ruocchio, Joe Abercrombie, and Brandon Sanderson having a more personal relationship with booktubers. Can we control our biases? Can we be objective?

I also take a look at Children Of Maya, the first novel by Christopher Vastag which I've been sent to review, free of charge. The first book I've been sent so far. (Link below)

This is NOT a sponsored video, no money changed hands and there was no agreements made. I am free to say whatever I like about this book and that will ALWAYS be the case on my channel. I will not do paid promotion.
