A short clip from the opening of Hephaestus The Blacksmith, Track 8 from the album "The Olympians" by Scot Stoddard and Catherine Corelli.

Hephaestus was the Greek god of blacksmithing and metalworking, which was a very important aspect of ancient Greek life. Hephaestus was held in very high regard, as blacksmiths were crucial to life. Hephaestus created all the weapons for the gods of Mount Olympus and was worshipped in the manufacturing and industrial centers of Greece, especially Athens.

The Olympians is a 14-track album from Scot Stoddard and Catherine Corelli, and it contains a track depicting the aspects of all 12 Olympian gods, plus two bonus tracks for the philosophers Plato and Diogenes. The genre for the album is instrumental progressive metal! Hephaestus, as a blacksmith, had to be a heavy track, because METAL. I think we've hit the mark here.

I hope you enjoy the track, the full version of which can currently be found on my Telegram channel at https://t.me/scotstoddardmusic. Subscribe to my channel for interesting social commentary and updates on the progress of the new album, complete with video and audio clips!
