Continuity Tester Circuit - HOMESTEAD CHORES // Day In a Life Homestead

As an electrician by trade, I'm used to seeing all sorts of "mickey mouse" wiring. While this is not the case here, I did need to fix a few things. Here I'll show you how to properly install a continuity tester circuit. In this case, it's for light in our chicken coop. It's all part of a day in the life of a homesteader!

AFCI - A short is detected between the line wire and the neutral wire to protect a subject from a faulty cord.

GFCI - A short is detected between the line and the ground wire. This is used where there is a water source.
