How could culture have sent Humans and Chimpanzees down different evolutionary paths?

How could culture have shaped chimpanzee evolution and do chimpanzees really have their own culture to begin with?

In this video we talk about how culture may have shaped chimpanzee evolution by framing it as the common ancestors of both man and chimpanzees splintering off based on alpha males with differing ideologies that could almost be akin to the most primitive version of our modern progressive and conservative mindsets.

In order to frame this idea properly we look at footprints from Tanzania from one of our most ancient ancestors, Homo Kenyanthropus, and the story of two chimpanzees from the Gombe expedition under Jane Goodall and their alpha male rivalry.
