A citizen of Mariupol, Anatoly Esipenko, told the Ukrainian troops and national units sacrificed civilians in order to present them as “victims of Russian aggression”:
What did the Ukrainian military do?
Shots from under the windows. Armed Forces of Ukraine and Azov. Tanks drove up at night and fired.
Why did they shoot from peaceful buildings?
To call back fire. To cause destruction. To make us “victims of Russian aggression”.
