Breda (Central Station) to Roosendaal (Central Station) -- Tourist route

Welcome to this video!
With a camera tied to my chest I'll drive my scooter, starting at Breda Central station, and go to the settlements Prinsenbeek, Etten-Leur, Hoeven, Bosschenhoofd, Zegge and I'll end the ride at Roosendaal Central Station.

(Don't confuse Roosendaal with Rozendaal, which are two complete different cities not even located close to each other).

This is also the first video I shot in which I placed in the names of cities and villages I travel through. The entire video is taken in ONE shot, and the audio has not been replaced with music or whatever, so what you hear is the noise I had to endure myself as well, when I shot this.

All of this route is taken in Noord-Brabant which is one of the three most Southern provinces of the Netherlands (not to be confused with Holland which is only the Western part of the country, and not even the entire Western part, as there's also Zeeland).

Nice to note. Breda is the town where I was born, and where I also live at the time I shot and uploaded this video. Etten-Leur has also been my hometown for quite awhile. Etten-Leur is by the way a merge of two villages, Etten and Leur. The entire part of this ride is in Leur though. Just before I would end up in Etten, I turned right 😝effectively exiting town. (Contrary to what most people in the region believe, the railway in Etten-Leur is NOT the border between the two parts).

In this video you also see make make a short halt in memory of Myra. A 26 years old woman who died at the specific spot where the video mentions this. The entire road was different at the time and very extremely dangerous. Myra rammed a truck there dying instantly in the process, while riding her bicycle. Her sudden death was something that would always leave a kind of a mark on the rest of my life. As I lived at the neighborhood closeby at the time it happened made me fearful for awhile, especially since Myra was only one of more people dying there in only a few months time leading the entire place to be remodeled the way it is you see in the video. (It must have been in 1999 when this happened, and the video was shot in 2022, so 23 years later).
