How to Use Oregano Oil as Herbal Antibiotic

Sometimes, you may think your body is a battlefield. When a bacterial infection invades it, a physician normally prescribes armed combatants called antibiotics. Yet this remedy can create its own set of problems. We often seem helpless while these two armies fight to the finish.
Luckily, we can spring into action and take a defensive position without destroying good bacteria called probiotics. Our secret weapon is oregano oil.

In today’s video, we’ll take a microscopic look into how this natural remedy works.

CAUTION: This oil has brute force and should always be diluted, and never applied directly to an open wound or broken skin. To take orally, remember to always mix it in with water, or your favorite oil – such as olive or coconut.

Young children, pregnant and nursing women should only use oregano oil after consulting a physician. This includes those with heart conditions or high blood pressure.

Oregano oil contains two potent compounds that possess anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. The dominant one is carvacrol. Studies show it is the ultimate natural antibiotic and has successfully reduced and reversed:

Bacterial and fungal infections
Parasites
Viruses and allergies
Inflammation
Tumors

Oregano Oil Uses

Having respiratory problems? Try adding 2 or 3 drops to a vaporizer or diffuser.
For sore throats, stir 2 or 3 drops of oil into a glass of water and drink.
Even acne gets sidelined when oregano oil comes into play.
Mix 1 or 2 drops with a capful of coconut oil or aloe vera.
Apply gently to the skin, using a clean cotton pad to prevent spreading bacteria.
This same mixture can be used on shingles, psoriasis, cold sores and even nail fungus.

Remember: Do not apply on broken or sensitive skin.

If strenuous activity has left you with sore aching muscles, mix equal parts of oregano oil with organic olive oil and apply topically.

Do you feel as if something is brewing internally, perhaps the onset of a cold? Be proactive. Before each meal, add 1 or 2 drops of oregano oil into a glass of water. If there is no burning sensation, you can increase the oil to 3 or 4 drops.

Bacteria can be the source of bad breath. Again, oregano oil can march into battle, riding atop your toothpaste, and destroy the enemy.

Oregano Oil For Detox

One advantage of using this natural antibiotic is that it improves your digestive health without destroying good bacteria.
To rid your body of toxins, parasites or bacteria that may be in hiding, try drinking a simple solution before each meal.
Add 1 or 2 drops of oregano oil to a glass of water. If there are no side effects, you can increase it to 3 or 4 drops.
Follow this procedure for 14 days.
Then take a 7 day break. Oregano oil is too powerful to take it at long intervals.
If necessary, drink this solution for another 14 days.
