Can Skipping Breakfast Kill You | Alarming New Study! is a video that sheds some light on a new study covering the dangers of skipping breakfast.

Every so often we have these new studies that are released that contradict almost everything I teach. Unfortunately the media gets a hold of these studies and puts a spin on them in order to gain viewership, or tell something shocking. You can imagine with this particular study there are tons of media outlets telling us that Intermittent Fasting benefits are simply no longer a true benefit. They are telling us that this new breakfast study confirms that if we skip breakfast our health could be in a downward spiral.

Skipping breakfast effects are very different than intermittent fasting. In this study what was found is that the very people who skipped breakfast were the same people who lived a horrible lifestyle. Meaning that they smoked, didn't eat well, did not exercise, and drank excess alcohol. Nor did these individuals pay any attention to the timeframe in which they ate. people who practice intermittent fasting are generally healthier individuals doing so in order to improve their health. Not skipping breakfast because they had a coffee with a couple cigarettes. The skipping breakfast benefits are great, but if done with the proper lifestyle and done in the intermittent fasting fashion.

The other thing to consider is what does skipping breakfast mean to you? For most if they didn't have a big breakfast that means they skipped it. For instance, many people who had a bite of high sugar yogurt will say they skipped breakfast. Sure they did not really have a complete breakfast, but they also didn't intermittent fast.

So when we look at heart disease or cardiovascular diseases associated with skipping breakfast, just understand that skipping breakfast does not equal or compare to intermittent fasting.
