According to many self proclaimed internet health gurus carbohydrates are inherently bad and have nothing to offer. I happen to disagree as long as you are choosing the healthier ones. There is a difference between good carbs and bad carbs and those differences should be acknowledged.

Good Carbs for weight loss are going to be the carbs that are low glycemic and derived from whole foods sources. These are also the same good carbs for diabetics as they will not spike insulin levels like the unhealthy ones. I want to mention while on the topic that diabetics should always keep their carb consumption to a minimum.

Good carbs on keto are going to be the carbs that are coming primarily from you vegetable sources. When you eat leafy greens for instance they contain carbs and those will be in most cases the only carbs you can afford to eat on keto.
