Elbit Falcon Optical Gunsights, the first military issued, combat proven red dot sight.

Adopted in the early 80's, the IDF were the first major military to adopt a red dot sight for combat use with the MK I Elbit Falcon. As an avid collector and user of Elbit Falcon red dot optics, I cover the history of the Falcon MK I with the IDF, the MK II commercial version (released in the early 90's) and share my experience using them as a "go to" optic on many of my rifles and carbines.
