A review of the types of headache based on their classification into primary headache and secondary headache groups, including a look at migraines, tension headache, and the difference between tension headache and migraine headache. The video also describes cluster headaches and (TAC) trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias which encompass cluster headache, paroxysmal hemicranias, hemicranias continua and other chronic headache types, SUNCT and SUNA headache syndromes. We also discuss benign exertional headaches such as exercise induced headache, coital headaches, cough induced headache. The symptoms of migraine and a description of what is a migraine in terms of the symptoms of migraine headaches, including auras and premonitory signs, are set out in some detail with a look at chronic migraine and status migrainosus. Finally, the secondary headaches are discussed, including trauma, vascular, drug use and infection as causes of headache.
