10 Smartphones Emitting The Most Radiation

Smartphones that emit the most radiation have been determined by a study.

It is a known fact that smartphones emit radiation. Every electronic device gives radiation to its users, albeit at different levels. But there is an acceptable level of radiation, according to science.

According to the American Federal Communications Commission (FCC), there is no reliable scientific evidence that the radiation in smartphones is harmful to humans.

However, radiation levels are a matter of curiosity. With the research conducted by Bankless Times based on the data of the German Federal Radiation Office, the phones that emit the most radiation have been determined. While some of these phones are not sold in Turkey, some of them are in the domestic market.

This review on Android devices was based on SAR values. The FCC had set the upper limit for SAR of 1.6 watts per kilo. Nine out of 10 phones on the list fall below this level.

The Motorola Edge phone, at the top of the list, is the smartphone that emits the most radiation with a SAR value of 1.79. Motorola Edge is followed by ZTE Axon 11 5G, OnePlus 6T, Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, Google Pixel 3XL, Google Pixel 4a, Oppoe Reno5 5G, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, Google Pixel 3 and finally OnePlus 6.

As you can see, there are three phones belonging to Google on the list. The SAR value of OnePlus 6, which is at the bottom of the list, is 1.33.
