The Falling Away of the Church - The Falling Away in the Bible - Phanatik Leaves the faith

In the end times we will see a falling away of the church. This will be a teaching on the falling away in the bible study. It was a shock to find out this week that Phanatik leaves the faith of Christianity. Phanatik who name is Brady Goodwin is a Christian rapper from the Group the Cross Movement which rose to fame in the 1990's. Phanatik did solo albums such as the incrediable walk, shot clock, press on, come home. Phanatik music was really good. He was the most skilled MC in the group. One of his group members the Ambassador did a video this week called Phanatik and me which details his thoughts on the situation. The deeper situation is the falling away of the church. We will look at bible verses or scriptures about this. I will give you my thoughts on why people are denouncing the faith. We will also listen to a short video with Phanatik denouncing Christianity.

Two of the reason he states are relevant in Panatik’s case. First the embracing of Liberal Theology or Liberal Politics. Second the embrace of Key tenants of Marxism and Communism which include Liberation theology. Liberation Theology states that it is the job of Christians to resolve the problems of the poor, demand social justice, eliminate the wealthy and set up a new political order Under this umbrella also includes embracing modern social justice movements. I play a clip in another video where he leaves a major clue to his falling away. He says
"The bible is the basis for harmful bigotries. You look at the way minorities are treated, the way women are treated, and the way homosexuals are treated". We do not understand why God allows certain things. Sometimes it seems cruel and unfair. We want to question God. Or walk away from him. It is best if we bring these tension to him and hold unto him tightly. Earthly fathers are know for being tougher or strong. Fathers can disciple us and push . Our heavenly father can sometimes seem cruel or hard. But God the father indeed knows better then us. Life is much better with God then without him.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself if your interested. Josh has a degree in Applied Psychology from NYU and went to seminary at Bethel University and ORU University.
