Chicago Bears Draft Rumors are ramping up with the 2022 NFL Draft less than 2 weeks away. The Bears don’t have a first round pick, but Mel Kiper released a 2-round mock draft which means the Bears drafted 2 players. At pick #39, Chicago lands Washington CB Kyler Gordon. Gordon had a strong pro day and should be able to translate as a starting outside corner opposite of Jaylon Johnson. Kiper had the Bears drafting Tulsa OL Tyler Smith with the #48 pick in ESPN’s NFL Mock Draft. Smith has been linked to the Bears in several Bears mock drafts. He has big upside, but may need a year of technical work. Smith played LT in college, but could play guard in the NFL.
