Regulators in two states have issued a cease-and-desist order against Sands Vegas Casino Club. The online casino sold NFTs to support operations in Alabama and Texas, which constituted an illegal securities offering. Purchasers of the Gambler NFT benefit from these operations and split half of the profits. Sand Vegas Casino bought 27 plots in Sandbox in January 2022, with the goal of satisfying all regulatory/legal requirements between March and August 2022.
