KU Campus Walk - April 2022

In this video of the University of Kansas campus, I start my walk on Jayhawk Boulevard from the area between The Kansas Memorial Union and The KU Natural History Museum, and I travel all the way down to the West end near Lindley Hall and the Chi Omega Fountain. Then I traverse down along Naismith Drive on my way to Allen Fieldhouse at the bottom of the hill. The University is steeped in tradition, with majestic buildings on both sides of the iconic Jayhawk Boulevard. Monumental structures like Fraser Hall, Strong Hall, Hoch Auditoria and Watson Library.

The occasion of the day was the Kansas Jayhawks victory parade in downtown Lawrence, Kansas on Massachusetts Street, celebrating the Jayhawks thrilling win over The North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA mens basketball finale in the Final Four, staged in New Orleans, Louisiana. KU won the game 72-69 on Monday April 4th, 2022.

Unfortunately my camera malfunctioned on me, and recored all this footage in the "slo-mo" mode. So in editing, I had to speed the tempo back up 4 times in post, in order to get back to regular speed. And when recording in "slo-mo" mode, the camera does not record audio. Thus I had to dub some music over the clips, so as not to be a silent movie.
