Renault starts selling the Sandero S Edition, a special series that brings an attractive combination of comfort and sporty design to the hatch, maintaining all the characteristics that have established the model in the Brazilian market, such as the great internal space, robustness and low maintenance cost. .

Since its launch in Brazil, the Renault Sandero has sought to stay connected with its audience through special series that offer youthful and sporty appeal. Examples of this were the limited editions Vibe and Tech Run, released in 2009 and 2013, respectively.

Now, in 2021, it's the turn of the special S Edition series, which offers consumers an attractive visual combination highlighting the model's lines. On the new front, the bumper is inspired by the part adopted in the Sandero R.S. 2.0 with LED daytime running lights positioned at the bottom and integrated frame, finished in gray. The lower part also features the honeycomb grille – another allusion to the sporty R.S. 2.0 – while the upper grille, horizontal, has a black finish, highlighting the Renault logo in the center.

The headlights are darkened, with double focus, being the same adopted in the Sandero R.S. 2.0. Running along the side, the S Edition features 15-inch steel wheels, with silver-tone hubcaps and mirrors that feature a cover with a piano black finish. Behind, the novelty is on account of the dimmed LED lanterns that match the more youthful style of this special series.

Internally, the model brings all the qualities present in the Sandero line, such as the ample internal space, both for occupants and for luggage, and care in the finish as in the details in black piano and dark ceiling, which contributes to the feeling of a more sophisticated environment. . The seats covered in a fabric with a modern and minimalist style bring thick foams and great comfort and ergonomics, as well as height adjustment for the driver.

As standard, the S Edition brings several comfort and convenience items, with air conditioning, steering with electro-hydraulic assistance, front electric windows with "one touch" function, door locks and trunk opening with electric activation, as well as as rear parking sensors. The model also features four airbags (front and side) and ABS brakes. In connectivity, the model comes with the Media Evolution system, with four speakers. This multimedia system features Android Auto and Apple Carplay technology, allowing you to use Spotify, Waze, Google Maps (Android Auto) and Whatsapp audio on the seven-inch capacitive touchscreen, with better touch accuracy.

Developed by Renault Tecnologia Américas (RTA) and produced at the Ayrton Senna Complex, in Paraná, the 1.0 SCe engine stands out for its greater performance and energy efficiency. With three cylinders and four valves per cylinder, the engine features dual variable valve timing in the intake and exhaust, offering 90% of the maximum torque (10.5 kgfm) at 2,000 rpm. The power is 82 hp with ethanol.

Renault takes advantage of the know-how acquired on the Formula 1 tracks, a category in which the brand has already won 12 world titles, to ensure the maximum efficiency of its engines. From the tracks came ESM (Energy Smart Management) technology and the variable flow oil pump, which reduce fuel consumption.
