Children of Hasina Begum urge authorities to not deport their mother. She is among over 200 Rohingya refugees who were rounded up into detention centres in Jammu in March 2021. The family says she has been shifted from Hiranagar 'holding centre' to unspecified location.
The family fears that she might be deported back to Myanmar. The Jail authorities and civil administration did not respond on the matter.

Hasina was detained but her three children and husband are living in a refugee camp in Jammu.

This come days after the US governmnet declared that Myanmar's military has committed genocide against the Rohingya minority.
