John 13:26-27 King James Version
26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.
27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA GANG!!!
There's something about not only this passage of scripture, that not only convicts and challenges my heart, but tears at it, because of what this moment represents. Judas was a man who knew everything about Jesus, and who He was, and yet still rejected Him. Interesting, is during the Passover meal, Jesus gave Judas every opportunity to change his mind, to repent of what he was about to do, through providing him a special place at the Passover meal washing his feet, and giving him a special honor of a piece of bread dipped in sop. Bridgeway Commentary describes it this way: “When Jesus took a piece of bread, dipped it in the dish and gave it to Judas, he was giving Judas a special honour. It was as if Jesus was making a last appeal to him. But Judas’ heart was set on doing evil. Jesus knew Judas’ intentions, but the apostles still did not suspect him of being a traitor (Matthew 26:23-25; John 13:26-30).” What a shame, that Judas didn't repent! And yet in this darkness, this moment of despair, God still prevailed!

I think that's why these questions from this morning's devotional, are deeply challenging my heart today, as well as reminding me to never give up hope. Please read these questions very carefully, and allow God to speak to and challenge your heart through them as well.

When have you experienced panic, loss of hope, and despair?
How would you describe how you felt after you came through that dark experience?

I'd like to share some things that God showed me through some of the things that I've been through lately, as well as this passage I read this morning, and I pray that what I say will encourage and challenge you as well. Come join me in this vlog, and learn how even in the darkest moments, we should never lose hope, because God still reigns! 😊

As I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that if you were experiencing a “moment of darkness” in your life, that you will turn to the One who went through the darkest moment of His life, to redeem you from your sin, and know that in Christ you will have the victory! Remember how he kept His Heavenly Father's plan in view when He went through the steps to the cross, and don't be afraid to thank Him for conquering sin and death for you. Above all, I pray that if there's anyone reading this or watching this that does not know Christ as their savior, that you will make that decision to accept Christ today. Here's a link that explains more about that. https://www.ccphilly.org/do-you-know-him/

SO, UNTIL FRIDAY MY FRIENDS;

SWEET, BLESSED, AND GLORIOUS DREAMS IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
