Manufactured in the plant in Sorocaba, SP, the brand's first in the country to be designed as an ecofactory, the hatch and sedan versions of the new Yaris reach the Brazilian market more equipped, with a new front design and more elegant features, in addition to important safety improvements. that reinforce Toyota's commitment to this fundamental pillar in the development of its vehicles.

One of the most important products for Toyota do Brasil, the New Yaris 2023 arrives renewed in one of the most demanding segments of the market, in which consumers increasingly seek to analyze different factors when choosing, such as cost-effectiveness, low cost of maintenance and exceptional after-sales service. And it proves to be an excellent purchase option for the customer, combining all this with the five-year factory warranty offered by the brand.

The 2023 Yaris range will be available in XL, XS and XLS versions, all equipped with the seven-speed CVT automatic transmission. In response to customers' wishes, all versions now have the well-known, sophisticated and economical 1.5L flex Dual VVT-i engine, in addition to new Eco and Sport driving modes.

The external design received updates to give the model more modernity, with a sporty touch, without losing the elegance of a family car. The lines are more fluid and follow the rationale of a superior category, with the redesigned front bumpers.

The new Yaris 2023 now has new driving modes for all versions: Sport and Eco. In sport mode, the driver changes the transmission calibration, which makes acceleration curves shorter and more responsive. And, for those looking for even more economy, the Eco mode prioritizes low fuel consumption and therefore more efficient driving. And speaking of efficiency, according to Inmetro, with ethanol, the hatch configuration of the Yaris does 8.8 km/l in the city and 10 km/l on the highway, while the sedan, also with ethanol, does 9.0 km/l in the city and 10.6 km/l on the highway.

Regarding the engine, the new Yaris 2023 now has only the 1.5L flex Dual VVT-i engine with a seven-speed CVT gearbox, and the XS and XLS versions still have gearshifts on the steering wheel.

Some changes were made to the engine calibration and the fuel storage system received improvements to reduce the emission of evaporative pollutants without losing power, which continues with 110 hp at 5,600 rpm and 14.9 kgfm of torque, when fueled with ethanol, and 105 hp at 5,600 rpm and 14.3 kgfm of torque, when fueled with gasoline, without changes in consumption.

In terms of safety, the Yaris has, since its launch on the domestic market, a high level of standard equipment in all versions, such as traction control (TRC), stability (VSC) and hill climb assistant (HAC), ABS brakes with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BAS), three-point seat belt and headrests for all occupants

The color range of the new 2023 Yaris is: Red (for hatchback), Polar, Granite Grey, New Moon Silver, Infinity Black, Titan Blue and Lunar White for all versions
