In 1996 I was at the corporate challenge in Central Park. I was approached by a woman and a guy with a polaroid camera. They asked if they could take my picture and If I would be interested in doing a focus group on tasting beer for $50.00. I said sure. When I arrived at the focus group, they brought me into a room and handed me two cups of beer. They did not tell me the brands, just asked for my reaction. While leaving to collect my $50, they asked if I would be interested in trying out for a beer commercial, it was paying $200. I said "SURE". I went to Sony studio's (53 Street and 10 Ave). They bring you to the back, which is chaos, with them trying different shirts or hats and in the middle trying to put powder on your face, They now bring you into this huge pitch black room with a stage and bright lights. They tell me nothing. The director say's I am going to hand you a beer (it was a bottle, but the label was covered). He say's, just talk about the beer. Every thing you see on this commercial is all spontaneous.
