Roses are valued for their beautiful blooms and scents, but it turns out that the rose hips nestled under the petals of the flower are packed with beneficial nutrients. Rose hips house the plants seeds (seeds are toxic in very high quantities) and typically form in the early fall when the petals begin to fall, though not all rose plants produce rose hips. They're often recognized for their many nutrients that they contain and can be found in oils, teas, capsules, and even incorporated into your diet as a whole fruit.

But for today's purposes, we're really interested in it's ability to help fight inflammation (though it does take a relatively large amount). Ed always speaks about how fighting inflammation can be a first line of defense against disease, and he was pretty astounded by some of the research he saw about rose hips. So sit back, relax, and learn a little something about another unique solution that nature has provided.
