Eastern Nebraska 'abnormally dry,' NRD urges public to take up water conservation efforts

The Platte River provides much of the state's drinking water, as well as irrigation. Low levels of the river can cause severe impacts to your everyday life, as well as agriculture, economy and wildlife.
