The human gut is more complex than previously thought and has a huge impact on whole-body health.

A healthy gut contributes to a strong immune system, heart health, brain health, improved mood, healthy sleep, and effective digestion, and it may help prevent some cancers and autoimmune diseases.

There are a number of lifestyle changes you can make to positively affect your gut health and your overall health as a result.

 Lower your stress levels
 Get enough sleep
 Eat slowly
 Stay hydrated
 Take a prebiotic or probiotic
 Check for food intolerances
 Change your diet

One thing I found is by having a DNA Diet test and food sensitivity testing, you can find foods that are just not working for you and by avoiding those foods that are causing havoc, can start the healing process.

Adding proper supplementation to get the good bacteria functioning properly is also a great help.
