Snake eggs

yes, most snakes lay eggs. There are 4 that have live births. copperheads, rattlesnakes, water moccasins, and coral snakes. So based on that info, its a very safe assumption that these eggs are from a harmless snake and we are both glad we did a little thinking and decided to just cover them back up and leave them alone.
