Craig Peterson is a single, adoptive father of children coming out of traumatic situations. He decided to step out of the business world, set his life on hold for several years, and parent these children. His daughter struggled with PTSD after being molested by her foster father. Getting the children into his home was challenging. Craig met with his children's teachers regularly. He learned early on to not take his children's behaviors personally. He was able to walk in his children's shoes. Many parents end up having the same kind of trauma issues as their children. Craig shares how he maintained his own sanity while dealing with really tough parenting situations. The life you had may not be the life you're going to lead!
