New World MMO Hits 190,000 Concurrent Steam Beta Players - Can Amazon Maintain Their Success?

I never expected Amazon's New World Beta MMO to register on the player numbers past the first day. I never expected it to stand a chance against World of Warcraft or for people to choose it over Ashes of creation. Once the sponsorships were over, I thought the game would end too, just like Crucible. But this MMORPG shows no signs of stopping and at this point, the main danger to its continued success may well be the developers themselves.
