A Link To The Past Randomizer (ALTTPR) - Inverted Worlds, Hard Enemy Health

Now that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is once again completed (at least until Expansion Pass Part 2 comes out this November), I thought of other really long or potentially endless games with daily challenges I could play for the early morning slot. And I figured since it is Zelda's 35th anniversary this year, I thought I'd play some more Zelda Randomizers. So welcome to the Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past Randomizer!

I've played a few SMZ3 Randomizer runs on this channel that combine ALTTP with Super Metroid, but it currently has only a few options for setting up the seed, whereas the standalone A Link To The Past Randomizer has a whole slew of options to choose from, including shuffling enemies and bosses, inverting the worlds so you start in the Dark World, retro Zelda 1 style, changing the number of crystals required to enter Ganon's Tower and to kill Ganon, entrance shuffle, overall difficulty with the number of items available, etc. The Randomizer also has daily challenges, which fits my daily early morning slot perfectly!

For this Daily Challenge seed, the worlds are inverted, and Enemy Health and Item Functionality are set to Hard. Inverted Worlds means you start the game in the Dark World and you have to work your way into the Light World in order to slay Ganon who has abandoned the Pyramid of Power and is now hiding underneath Hyrule Castle. Hard enemy health means most of the enemies have more health than in the normal game, and Hard Item Functionality means some of the items are not as effective as normal (green potions only restore half of your magic, red potions only heal 7 hearts, Boomerangs no longer stun enemies, you can't catch Fairies in bottles anymore, the Cane of Byrna doesn't make you invincible anymore, the Magic Cape consumes double the magic power, you only get a single heart from using Magic Powder on the bubbles, and you can't use the Silver Arrows anywhere except Ganon's boss room).
