Why V Rakes WORK for THIN Hay: 10 Wheel V rake on Grass Hay - Smoked Turkey - Cabin Cat

It's nearly time! The hay needs to be raked into rows before it can be baled. How many bales will we actually GET off our first cutting grass hay, and WILL my baler repair work be UP TO SNUFF?!

It's been a rough start to the year, and the hay has STRUGGLED for first cut. Our old 4 bar rake would have left HALF of it on the field . . . how does a V Rake compare on a THIN hay crop?

Today we do a quick rake with our 10 wheel New Holland Procart rake and cook up some smoked turkey! Plus, the cabin cat!
