Stoner, Sullivan and Miller designed the AR18 after the AR15. The AR18 or AR180 was a good design made by several different companies in different countries, Howa of Japan and Sterling of England with the originals being made in California by Armalite. Charles St. George designed the Australian Leader T2 Mk5 rifle based on the American AR18. Later, Masterpiece Arms would clone the Australian clone of the American AR18 and call it the MPAR.
