JP Sears defines what Normies call "doing painstaking research", prescribes how to treat dissidents

"100% of my research involves me sitting in front of the TV with my eyes open and my thinking suspended. Now surprisingly, what my research has concluded is true, is exactly what the news has told me is true. To be informed, you gotta turn the TV on and your mind off."

One consequence of doing this kind of "painstaking research" by consuming only dumbed down one-sided propaganda in bite sized chunks, is that complex, nuanced, elaborate, uncertain subjects are perceived to be easy to wrap your head around completely, black and white, and definitive.

People think that they have understood the essence of a subject, while in fact they haven't understood anything near the essence. Examples:

- Ukraine is good, Russia is bad. Zelensky is good, Putin is bad.

- COVID vaccines are strictly necessary, exceptionally safe and highly effective. They are our only way to protect humanity from the pandemic caused by this horrible killer virus. The vaccines are not perfect, but still extremely good at protecting both yourself and your loved ones. Vaccine protection wanes within weeks to months, but that is just because our immune system is so defective. Like all medications, these vaccines do have side-effects, but the side-effects are extremely rare and tend to be both mild and of transitory. Most reported side-effects are just coincidences, such as when a vaccinated person gets hit by a bus shortly after leaving the vaccination clinic. Any claim to the contrary is an anti-vaxx conspiracy theory. These anti-vaxxers are such dangers to society (due to both their medical status and misinformation spreading vaccine hesitancy creating tendencies), that they need to be shamed, intimidated and canceled into conforming to what all scientist agree is true. These antisocial people need to show some solidarity and take one for the team.
