Terry Bonchaka,
Once upon a time, a young kid of 21 years old appeared out of nowhere and hijacked the Ghana music business and made it his own, but that did not last long as death called him too soon. That is the terrible tale of Terry Bonchaka, who died in an accident on the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange in 2003. Terry Bonchaka seemed to be unstoppable in the music industry until his demise. At the youthful age of 20, he showered the country with hit after hit. His manner was distinct and different from what Ghanaians were used to, making him stand out among his contemporaries. His characteristic dance, the pulele, was essentially done by every young Ghanaian who loved music. But, as destiny would have it, his greatness was not destined to continue long, and at the age of 21, he died, leaving the country in sadness.

Before Many Comedians arrived to revive the local film business, there was John Evans Bosompim, commonly known as Bob Santo, who was doing an excellent job on his own. Together with his lifelong compatriot, Judas, the two brought enthusiasm back to the local cinema scene and were able to rekindle people's interest in local films. They appeared in multiple Akan films that were national blockbusters, but Bob Santo's path to resurrecting Ghana's collapsing film industry did not survive the test of time, as he died. According to his close friend and movie partner, Abusuapanyin Judas, Santo became unwell while on a European tour.

Suzzy Williams died at the age of 23. Suzzy Williams was one of Ghana's and Nigeria's top movie stars at the time of her death, appearing in all of the blockbuster Nollywood and Ghallywood films. She was making all of the correct moves in the film business, establishing herself as the most gifted actress among her colleagues. However, in 2005, the promising actress was killed in a horrific accident. She was in the car with a young male who was claimed to be his lover, according to the report.
Ebony
When Ebony was engaged in a vehicle accident in 2018, she became the latest star to join the long line of Ghanaian celebrities who died at the peak of their careers. Her terrible death happened as she was returning from Sunyani on the. According to sources, the vehicle in which she was traveling collided with an oncoming VIP bus traveling in the other way. Ebony was the top artist of 2017, recording multiple singles. Before her sad death, she was expected to become Ghana's first female singer to win the coveted Artiste of the Year award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). Before her death, Ebony was projected to be Ghana's next major performer, rubbing elbows with industry heavyweights like Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.
Komla Dumor,
He was a multi-award-winning Ghanaian broadcaster who previously worked for Joy FM in Accra before becoming the face of BBC's Focus on Africa.
In December 2013, he was named as one of the 100 most influential Africans of 2013 by New African magazine
Ansah Kwame Owusu
He began his career as a radio host before becoming one of Ghana's and Nigeria's most sought-after actors.
According to reports, the actor was traveling alone in his Toyota Camry when his car ran into a cargo truck ahead of him on the Accra-Tema Motorway Thursday night.
Before he was taken to the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital, he was first sent to the Tema General Hospital.
He died at the age of 41.
Jerry Rawlings
He led two coups, first in 1979, before twice being elected president in multiparty polls.
A charismatic figure, he first seized power railing against corruption and was responsible for executing several former heads of state for their alleged graft and mismanagement.
He was also seen as a champion of the poor but came to be criticized for alleged human rights abuses.
He died in a hospital in the capital, Accra, after a short illness.

Psalm Adjeteyfio known in the industry as TT is famed for his role in the popular television series, ‘Taxi Driver’.
Adjeteyfio was in the news after he made public his financial predicaments and many Ghanaians went to his aid.
Psalm Adjateyfio had said that his impoverished situation is a result of poor working conditions during his active acting days.
These are some of Ghana's celebrities whose deaths rocked the whole country.
