Sophie demonstrates regardless of how old you are or where you come from, everyone has the opportunity to do something positive for their community and the world. Sophie Weenink is a 16 year old Nelsonian. She is active in her community through voluntary work and fundraising. Sophie has received national awards from the NZ Impact Awards and Keep NZ Beautiful and a medal from the New Zealander of the year awards. She wants you to know that whoever you are, you have the ability to change the world through positive actions.
