In the multitasking world, it seems that we are all likely to stress following up with our busy lives, and “being productive” is the standard that everyone is trying to meet. In his talk “Rethinking productivity: when mindfulness comes into play”, Vu Hai Truong will emphasize the importance of being mindful at work. According to his own experience, even the smallest tasks can cause people anxiety when they are not properly finished. By applying mindfulness and dividing our 168 hours wisely, "being productive” will no longer be something too difficult. He used to work as Program Manager at the University of Arizona Global Operation. With over 10 years of experience working in NGOs, he focuses on the areas of community service, capacity building and international education. He is the director of Peacework in Vietnam, used to be the Program Coordinator of World Learning USA and the International Service Specialist of YMCA Vietnam. He is a scholar of many community development programs such as United People Global Sustainability Leadership, YSEALI Professional Fellows Program, ABG Young Leaders Program. To him, learning is a parallel between the instructor and the learner, and the process is more important than the result. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
