邨名取自香港房屋協會創辦人張有權的筆名「家維」。
中間是水池公園，很不錯。
樓宇建得密密麻麻，是香港的特色。
Ka Wai Chuen is located at 1A-7 Fat Kwong Street, 44-48 Ma Tau Wai Road, No. 8-12 Station Lane, Hung Hom, Kowloon.
The name of the Estate is taken from the pseudonym "家維" of the founder of the Hong Kong Housing Society, Cheung Yau Kuen.
In the middle is a pool garden, which is very nice.
Buildings are densely built, which is a characteristic of Hong Kong.
