LET'S REPAIR! - EPISODE 5: 1965 GIBSON GA-20RVT - Part 1

Today the Tone Priest pulls out a vintage 1965 Gibson GA-20RVT guitar amp from his collection to service and repair. He also does a reenactment of Ben Franklin's famous kite experiment! Hopefully he doesn't need to call the fire brigade... again.

**Amplifier has a transformer phase inverter, not a tube phase inverter as described.

This and all Tone Priest videos are for edu-tainment purposes only. Guitar amplifiers can have lethal voltages in excess of 700 volts. Capacitors can retain a deadly charge even when an amplifier is turned off and unplugged. Videos are not instructional nor do they advocate anyone doing any kind of repairs on their gear. Nobody should do electrical work on anything for any reason ever. Keep your hands and belongings inside the car at all times.
