Editing .MKV Video - OBS - Vegas Pro

Vegas Pro 19 sometimes struggles with .mkv files from OBS recordings. Though there is an option to allow .mkv files on the timeline, the best way to consider them is 'not really suitable to edit' MKV (Matroska Multimedia Container) is designed to house several media formats in one place, but output them with one extension, ideal for livestreams for example where live editing is often taking place on the fly. OBS allows us to 'remux' the video and audio into a container Vegas understands better, mp4 - hope the video is useful.
