I was 55 on 22 April 2019; I started my Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) Journey or Experiment on my birthday. I will record my NMN experiment, not just as a log for myself, but also to help or inform others who may be interested in NAD+/NMN now and in the future.

My Current Anti-Aging Protocol:
• 1.5 grams of NMN
• 1.5 grams of Trans-resveratrol
• 1.5 grams of Berberine
• 2 grams of TM
• 5,000 IU (International Units) of vitamin D3
• 120 mcg (micrograms) of vitamin K2 (Mk 7)
• 250mg Magnesium (L-Threonate)
• 200mg high molecular weight hyaluronic acid
• 2,400mg of Fisetin a day, but only on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each month
• 2,400mg of Quercetin a day, but only on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of each month

So, if you’re watching this, I expect you too are at least middle aged and interested in longevity and if not longevity then how to make the years you do have left as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
On my channel, the Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) Experiment I will be charting my progress as I start to take NMN, initially 125mg a day, then upping the dosage if I see positive results and my body can take it. I have dabbled in areas that profess to assist with longevity such as diets that reduce inflammation and age related disease such as heart disease and diabetes; diets like the Ketogenic Diet (Keto Diet) and the Low Carb High Fat lifestyle and then onto fasting and now daily Intermittent Fasting to help with autophagy (I have now progressed onto an 8-hour eating window).

NMN is the pre-cursor to NAD+, so what you may say?
Well NAD+ is used to power out metabolism; simply it turns our food into energy.

NAD+ is also responsible for controlling the genes that power the aging process, as we get older our NAD levels drop so the aging genes are allowed to continue unchecked; ergo we get older, the lower the levels the faster we age. Dr. David Sinclair says that research has shown that by the time we are 50 we have HALF the levels we did when were 20! By increasing NAD through NMN we can kick-start those genes again and get them to slow down the aging process.

Ketosis, when it doesn't have enough carbohydrates from food for your cells to burn for energy, it burns fat instead.
