This entire series was filmed during late summer of 2010.Many of the personalities still can be found but many others have moved on. This series will tell you of history, it will show attractions, and it will make you laugh and cry. This is the Mother Road. Follow us as we reveal American's main street. Merry Christmas fellow Mother Road Fans! I did not actually plan for this segment to fall on Christmas, on this most fitting day. I hope 2121 will be the year you all can travel Route 66.

In this episode of the Route 66 Adventure starts at the giant Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We continued in Conway to film the Walkers Phillips 66 Station ruin, and the Longhorn Trading post and Bug Ranch, but the station is a ruin. We are seeing more Ghost Towns as we head west, but they are usually fenced in. We were told they started to do this because people were taking a piece as a memento. as we entered Amarillo we saw ruins and old signs, but we were looking for the Triangle Motel and the owner Alan McNeil who shared with us his efforts to renovate this landmark.
