Truck Drivers and Other Blue Collar Workers Finally Back to Making Bankers’ Money Has Some Upset

It used to be that blue collar workers in certain professions were paid their worth based on the value of their profession which lead to them making more money than a lot of white collar workers. Over the last few decades this changed and white collar professions in general were started to be seen as more valuable than blue collar ones because it was assumed that things like going to college made that the case. Now, the dynamic has shifted once again and back towards blue collar professions being of more value and that has lead to salaries being reflective of this. For example, truck driving is one of these professions where it has happened.

At one time truck drivers were making as much if not more than Wall Street bankers and now they finally are once again. This of course has some upset, especially those white collar workers who are realizing that their professions do not provide any actual value to society, like the bankers.

In this video we take a look at the shift taking place between blue and white collar professions along with the saltiness it is causing.
